Sara Cabrera
Director of Child Care Services
My name is Sara Cabrera, and I would like to introduce myself as Director of Bright Center. I have worked in the Early Childhood Education field for more than 25 years, and I have obtained tremendous experience throughout my career.
I chose to work in the education field as I love watching children learn and grow. My favorite part of my day is morning meeting time when I enjoy going into the classrooms and watching the children participate in the lessons. I am motivated each day by fulfilling the needs of my families and exceeding expectations.
I love building lasting relationships even after the families leave our program and I am honored to have the opportunity to continue the refinement and implementation of instruction and to enrich your child’s experience and education in a learning and loving environment .

Robert Wheeler
Youngest of 7 children, growing up was all about family. We didn’t have many fancy things but we had each other. This was the building blocks for my future.
After my daughter Samantha was born, my life evolved in caring for her when she could not care for herself. This took what I learned as a child and young adult to a whole new level. I have been fortunate enough to extend that care to help others by coaching Virginia Special Olympics Bowling and Track & Field. I also volunteer my time encouraging youths at local schools to challenge themselves and grow in the STEM and STEAM programs.
Samantha taught me how to give, help and stand up for others who could not do this for themselves. These qualities are what Nyome and her staff provide for all the clients who attend Bright Center. Samantha has grown immensely since she started attending Bright Center.
