We know the healthcare system is flawed. But for families of children with special needs, it is even more broken. Services are difficult to find and very costly, often not covered by insurance or Medicaid. Families spend more time navigating the broken health system and driving to services than caring for their child. We want to change this. At Bright Center, we believe ALL individuals should have access to quality and affordable care and suitable programs.
We invite you to join us in supporting individuals with special needs and their families. Our current programs serve young adults aged 18 and older. We realize this is only part of the picture, so we are working on expanding our services to better support adults with special needs. Your support will give adults with special needs access to recreational activities, social and life skills development, workforce training, therapy, counseling, and care coordination.
