We know the healthcare system is broken. But for families of children with special needs the system is even more fractured. Services are hard to find and are extremely expensive, often not covered by insurance or Medicaid. Families spend more time navigating the fractured health system and driving to services rather caring for their child. We want to change this. At Bright Center, we believe ALL abilities should have quality and accessible care and appropriate quality programs.
We ask for you to join us in this effort to support persons with special needs and their families. Our current programs serves young adults ages 18 and older. We know this is only half the picture so, we are currently working on expanding our programs to help support children and teens with special needs. Your support will provide special needs children with access to day programs, before & after school care, camps, evening and weekend recreational programs, social and life skills development, workforce training, therapy, counseling, and care coordination.
